Ms. Cleavinger joined the transactional team at Field, Manning, Stone, Hawthorne & Aycock PC., in 2005, following fifteen years of litigation and transactional work as a solo practitioner. Her practice now includes all areas of estate planning, including drafting both simple and complex Wills, special needs trusts, trusts for Medicare planning, generation skipping trusts and revocable trusts, durable powers of attorney and medical powers of attorney. She also represents clients in probates and guardianships.
Another key segment of Ms. Cleavinger’s practice is dedicated to advising and assisting clients with business transactions including formation of corporations, limited liability companies, limited partnerships, professional corporations and professional associations and representing clients in negotiating business acquisition contracts and other business-related contracts.
Since joining the firm, Ms. Cleavinger has had the opportunity to expand her real estate practice to include drafting and negotiation of oil and gas leases, surface use agreements, saltwater disposal agreements and offsite pad location agreements.
