Judson Paul (J. Paul) Manning
Areas of Practice
J. Paul Manning is a seventh generation Texan with deep roots all over Texas. Over the past 25 years, J. Paul Manning has represented numerous individuals and entities in complex commercial and probate litigation, inclusive of employment, real estate, construction, banking, and fiduciary litigation, as well as personal injury matters. J. Paul has tried in excess of 65 cases to judgment, the majority of which were tried to a jury. He has litigated in State and Federal Courts in Nevada, New Mexico, Arkansas and Texas and his creative work has led to many favorable judgments and/or dismissals. He has also framed, briefed and/or argued several successful appeals in Texas Appellate Courts.
He is the current Chair for the Litigation Section of the State Bar of Texas and is the Immediate Past President of South Plains Trial Lawyers Association.
He has served in all executive offices of the State Bar of Texas Litigation Council as well as President (2004) of the Lubbock County Young Lawyers Association. He was named Lubbock County Outstanding Young Lawyer and the Lubbock Chamber of Commerce Young Professionals 20 Under 40 Award.
J. Paul is a Life Member in the Texas Bar Foundation, led the Royal Ambassadors Youth Program for several years at his church and serves the South Plains Area Fellowship of Christian Athletes as a director.
